Good afternoon Village!
I know that it may seem hard to believe that in just a little over 48 hours president-elect "grab em by the pussy" will be sworn in as the 45th presidnent of these so calledRead Full Post »

The National Rifle Association's motto of "guns don't kill people, people kill people" is one of those things that I've struggled to reconcile in my mind for some time now. It’s been so difficult to reconcile because of the level of violence and homicide that exists within the urban core today. In addition, what I’ve also had a problem reconciling is the misinte...Read Full Post »

“Who murdered Jimmy Lee Jackson? We know a State Trooper acting under the orders of George Wallace pointed the gun and pulled the trigger, but how many other fingers were on that trigger?
Who murdered Jimmy Lee Jackson? Every white lawman who abuses the law to terrorize! Every white politician who feeds on prejudice and hatred! Every white preacher who preaches the Bible and s...Read Full Post »

Good Morning Village!
The commentary on how Black Live’s Matter, All Live’s Matter, and Cop’s Live’s Matter are terms that only a person living under a rock hasn’t heard about in recent years. To be brutally honest with you, I DON’T BELIEVE IT! Pardon my tone and demeanor, but I’m so sick of the rhetoric and propaganda behind BLM. I don’t believe Black l...Read Full Post »

Noam Chomsky, American author, political commentator and social justice activist coined the term "intentional ignorance" which is basically the denial of atrocities and history of oppression of America's dominant culture. Today the attitude of many in white Americans is... so what we condoned the genocide of this countries indigenous people... so what we institutionalize the most cruel...Read Full Post »

When I was a young boy
I had visions of fame
They were wild and they were free
They were blessed with my name
And then I grew older
And I saw what's to see
That the world is full of pain
And my dreams they left me
And then I got stronger
Inside of the pain
That's when I picked up the pieces
And I regained my name
And I fought hard, y'all
To call by my place
And right now ...Read Full Post »

Good morning Village!
The level of hate that we are experiencing today is the by-product of centuries of hypocrisy here in America, and what's really sad and sickening is a select few in America have learned very little from its atrocious past. Far to many of these same people suffer from what I call "selective amnesia". Those that suffer from this ailment have justified their actions and the actions of their ancestors in a selectively manner by choosing half-truths to supp...Read Full Post »

Good Afternoon Village!
An interesting topic came up as a result of a post I made on Facebook regarding a couple of NeoNazi's that I nominated as the very 1st recepients of my new S.K.U.S. Award. SKUS is an acronym for "some kind uh stupid" and will befall on those among us that just don't have a CLUE.
The statement as a result of my post that was gi...Read Full Post »

Ubuntu: umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu (Zulu Philosophy)

“Ubuntu – the essence of being...Read Full Post »

The ongoing debate of what this flag represents has gone beyond ridiculous! For the record as an American this flag and any other flag flown by the confederacy are the symbols of TREASON. News flash, the south lost its attempt for the continuation of slavery and therefore don't have the right to pledge allegiance to any other flag but the "Star Spangled Banner".
Let me make this simple to all those people that seem to still be S.O.S. (Stuck On Stupid). This nation is suppose...Read Full Post »

While I appreciate Mr. Edgerton's viewpoint it's hardly an all inclusive depiction or recollection and full of half-truths.
The tragedy of Mr. Edgerton's narrative on the role of his ancestors during the Civil War is like most controversial issues, it is totally biased to a fl...Read Full Post »

I couldn’t sleep again because my mind is trying to make sense of all of the silliness surrounding the confederate flag in South Carolina. Honestly, this whole debate is further proof for me that far too many of us REALLY DON’T HAVE A CLUE. Seriously, there has got to be a push for RE-EDUCATION in America because too many so called adults must have skipped history class during their entire time in high school.
This whole controversy with regard to the confederate...Read Full Post »

We've all got em!
Let's face it Village, there is at least one in every family and unfortunately sometimes its the entire family. I'm speaking of in the most polite and politically correct way as possible. What is it? Well it's an idiot! An idiot is a person who doesn't care how anyone around them feels. An idiot is a person that doesn't think of another person or persons in any capacity. Yes, an idiot is a person who would make a conscious decision to fight someone at a pea...Read Full Post »
